UEFA Women’s Champions League: Who Will Chelsea Draw?
With only three months until the 2023/24 UEFA Women’s Champions League final, the competition is heating up between the eight remaining teams – particularly Chelsea, who are waiting to see who they will face in the quarter-finals.
As a result of four wins and two draws, Chelsea emerged as the winner of Group D, allowing them to progress to the quarter-finals.
“Barcelona, Lyon and Paris Saint-Germain join us as group winners, and each will be drawn against one of the four runners-up in the shape of Ajax, Benfica, Brann and BK Hacken,” per the Blues’ official website.
“We cannot face the latter with clubs unable to play each other if they met in the group stage.”
That means Chelsea could be drawn to face either Ajax, Benfica, Brann or BK Hacken in the last eight, which are slated for 19-20 March and 27-28 March.
The Women’s Champions League quarter-final draw takes place today, Tuesday 6 February in Nyon, Switzerland.
The finals will then take place at San Mames in Bilbao, Spain on 25 May – will Chelsea prevail and take home the championship for the first time?
